WY Metro has sealed a deal with North Yorkshire County Council to give them access to the WY Metro ticketing system as part of new zones 6 & 7.WY Metro have announced that the new ticketing arrangements from 17th May, will allow North Yorkshire passengers travelling from stations upto Skipton and upto Harrogate will be able to travel on an extended MetroCard.
It is hoped this will relief the traffic and parking problems around Steeton & Silsdent station, where up until now it is known North Yorkshire residents travel to S&S station to travel onwards to Leeds.
