At a meeting of the Rail Working Group of the WYITA on 3rd June 2009, it was revealed that the station has been placed on the “West Yorkshire Strategic Programme of Schemes for 2009/10 – 2011/12” and is funded!
The previous issues with land access are now to be addressed, and the rail working group expect completion by 2012.
Obviously 2012 is a very tight aim for any rail project, but with funding now available, we are one step closer!
