Oxenhope train at the buffers

Plans to create a regular passenger service along the KWVR railway have “hit the buffers” according to this article from the T&A.

WY Metro and Northern have been working on a plan to operate a regular passenger service from Oxenhope to either Bradford, Leeds or Skipton.

However it is the view of the WY ITA (which oversees Metro) that the subsidy requirement would be too high. £550,000 p/a for a train, £50,000 p/a for a bus

Following a request to Metro, we now have a copy of the report. (Thank you to Metro for their speedy reponse).
